Peptides for Appetite
Peptides for appetite split into two opposite camps, and knowing which one you want matters. GLP-1 drugs like semaglutide turn hunger down. Growth hormone secretagogues like ipamorelin turn it up. You will need to create a free account with the vendor below to be able to order.

How Does Semaglutide Change Appetite?
Semaglutide copies GLP-1, a gut hormone your body releases after you eat. That hormone tells the brain you are full. Semaglutide also slows how fast the stomach empties. Together, those two effects are why people describe food noise going quiet. The hunger signal itself gets weaker.

Is the Appetite Effect Measured or Assumed?
Measured, and unusually well. Researchers put people in a lab, gave them free access to food, and counted the calories. Semaglutide cut intake by about a third compared with placebo. Hunger scores dropped too, and reported control of eating held up over two years in the STEP 5 extension. The table below is a brief summary of the research.

| Finding | Model |
|---|---|
| Energy intake cut about 35 percent | Randomized crossover trial (2021) |
| Reduced appetite and altered food preference | Randomized human study (2017) |
| Control of eating maintained to two years | STEP 5 extension (2023) |
| Research-vial versions of these trials | None |
What this evidence does not cover
Every trial above used pharmacy semaglutide under medical supervision. None used a research vial mixed at a kitchen table. Nausea was the top reason people quit, appetite comes back when dosing stops, and none of this is FDA approved in vial form. Research vials are not weight-loss prescriptions, and a batch-matched third-party COA is still the minimum standard.
Primary sources
- Semaglutide 2.4 mg on energy intake, appetite, control of eating and gastric emptying — 2021
- Once-weekly semaglutide on appetite, energy intake and food preference — 2017
- Two-year effect of semaglutide on control of eating, STEP 5 — 2023
What Do Appetite Peptides Cost?
Research-market semaglutide runs $40 to $90 per vial, depending on strength. That is far below pharmacy pricing for the branded product.
Prices well below that range usually mean skipped testing or short-filled vials. GLP-1 drugs are the most faked category in the market.
