Peptides for Athletes
Peptides for athletes is almost always about recovery, not performance. The name that comes up most is TB-500, a lab-made piece of a natural repair protein called thymosin beta-4. You will need to create a free account with the vendor below to be able to order.

What Is TB-500?
Thymosin beta-4 is a small protein your own cells release at an injury site. It grabs actin, a building block inside cells, and helps cells move into damaged tissue. TB-500 is the active piece, made in a lab. Injured muscle releases thymosin beta-4 on its own, and it pulls repair cells toward the damage. That is the whole basis for the recovery claims.

Does It Help Athletes Recover?
The human evidence is real, but it is not about sport. Thymosin beta-4 went into real clinical trials for wound healing. A European study looked at leg ulcers. Another study checked safety in healthy volunteers. Safety looked fine and the healing signals were modest. No trial has tested it for tendons, muscle, or return to play. The table below is a brief summary of the research.

| Finding | Model |
|---|---|
| Accelerated wound healing | Animal model (1999) |
| Venous ulcer healing and tolerability | Randomized human trial (2007) |
| Safety across single and multiple doses | Placebo-controlled human study (2010) |
| Athletic recovery or performance trials | None published |
What this evidence does not cover
Nothing here was measured in trained athletes. No result speaks to sprint times, strength, or how fast a hamstring heals. TB-500 is also banned in competition. Anyone drug tested in sport should expect a positive. Research vials are not sports medicine, and a batch-matched third-party COA is still the minimum standard.

What Does TB-500 Cost?
TB-500 runs $45 to $80 for a 10mg vial, or a few dollars per mg. It is often sold blended with BPC-157 at a similar total price.
Prices well below that range usually mean skipped testing or short-filled vials. Recovery peptides are the category counterfeiters target hardest.
